Where can I buy a kaipuyiree adjustable base?
The size buttons on this website open the matching product on Amazon.com. Before ordering, check the seller, current price, delivery details and return terms on Amazon. This website covers the US catalog and does not take orders or payments.
Can I order from Canada or another country?
The product links here go to Amazon.com for the US catalog. Set your actual delivery address on Amazon to check whether a product can be shipped to you and what the checkout terms are. This website does not provide a Canadian catalog or promise delivery outside the United States.
Do you sell Twin XL, Split King or a King Massage base?
The models shown here are Classic in Full, Queen and King, and Massage in Full and Queen. Twin XL, Split King and King Massage are not included in this catalog. A single King base moves both sides together.
What is the difference between the Classic and the Massage model?
Same frame, same 0–65° head and 0–45° foot range, same legs, light and USB ports. The Massage model adds one-touch TV, Anti-Snore and Zero Gravity buttons, two memory buttons, and massage in the head and foot sections. The Classic comes in Full, Queen and King; the Massage model in Full and Queen.
Does it come with a mattress?
No. You get the base, the remote, the legs, the mattress retainer bar, hardware and the manual. Use your own mattress if it is 10″ thick or less and made of foam, latex or a foam/latex hybrid.
Is the King a split King?
No. The kaipuyiree King shown here is one 80″ × 76″ base for a standard 76″ × 80″ King mattress, so both sides move together. Independent sides need separate bases and compatible mattresses. Twin XL and Split King are not included in this catalog.
How much does it cost?
Prices change on Amazon, so we do not list them here. The Amazon product page always shows the current price, any coupon, and the delivery date for your ZIP code.
Fit and sizes
Do I need a box spring with this adjustable base?
No. The base stands on its own legs and supports the mattress directly. Do not place it on top of a box spring, slats or a platform deck. If your existing frame stays sturdy with its supports removed, it can be used as a surround after checking the dimensions and moving clearance.
Which mattresses work on a kaipuyiree base?
Mattresses 10″ thick or less that can bend: memory foam, gel memory foam, latex, and latex or foam hybrids with pocket springs. Traditional innerspring coil mattresses, thick firm one-piece mattresses, air mattresses and water beds are not recommended.
Can I put it inside my existing bed frame?
Often, yes. Take out the slats or box spring, measure the inside of the frame, and check it is at least as long and wide as the base (Queen: 80″ × 59.5″). The base stands on its own legs inside the frame, so the side rails must not block the head or foot from lifting.
How high off the floor is it?
The legs screw in to set 7.5″ to 12.5″ of clearance between the floor and the frame. This is under-bed clearance, not the height of the mattress surface: the deck and your mattress add height above it.
How much weight can it hold?
Full and Queen: up to 900 lb. King: up to 950 lb. That is the maximum capacity of the base, including the mattress and the people on it.
Using the base
How far does it go up?
The head section raises from flat up to 65°, and the foot section up to 45°. The two move independently, so you can raise one, the other, or both.
Does the Classic have a zero gravity button?
No. The Classic remote has head, foot, head-and-foot together, Flat and light buttons; you reach a zero-gravity style recline by holding the head-and-foot button. The Massage model has a one-touch ZG button plus TV and Anti-Snore presets and two memory buttons.
Is it noisy?
You will hear the motors while a section is moving. Once it stops, the base is silent.
Can I charge my phone from the bed?
Yes. There are two USB-A ports on the side of the frame. Use your own USB-A cable.
Is it a hospital bed or a medical device?
No. It is a home adjustable bed base. It has no side rails, no height-lift for caregivers, and it is not designed to treat or prevent any medical condition. If you need a hospital bed, ask your doctor or a medical supply provider.
Set-up
Do I need tools to set it up?
No. Screw the legs in by hand, fit the mattress retainer bar, plug the power supply into the wall, and test each button. Plan for two people: the King alone weighs about 123 lb.
Warranty and support
What warranty does it have?
One year of full warranty: free repair, replacement or return for manufacturing defects (not accidental damage). In years two and three, replacement parts for components damaged by a manufacturing defect are free.
